Decatur Municipal Airport is located 40 minutes Northwest of Fort Worth and 60 minutes from Dallas.  The interstate highway is within 2000 feet of airport property (Highway 380) and 2 miles from U.S. 287.

Our amenities include:

  • 28 acres available for immediate development with 440-V power, sewer, and city water nearby.   Adjacent property of 5 to 8 acres are available by our local electric company Wise Electric Co-op
  • 4200 foot runway with medium intensity lighting
  • Airport security on site - local county and state police regularly patrol airport
  • AWOS III on site
  • Current ground lease rate is negotiated per contract.  Every 5 years the price is reset to CPI but will not exceed a 10 percent rise. 
  • Jet-A and AVGAS available 24 hours with discount if home-based an / or high volume
  • Located outside of DFW airspace

Decatur Jet Center
As a fixed base operator (FBO), Decatur Jet Center provides first class service at the Decatur Municipal Airport.  The Decatur Jet Center also offers fuel, aircraft rental, and flight school. As a flight school, the Decatur Jet Center is recognized as a Cessna Pilot Center.  They provide a full time staff for professional flight instruction for private pilot's license students.  Advanced training in complex, commercial, and multi-engine is also available.  Visit the Decatur Jet Center.
